From Gihere Central Washing Station in the Ngozi region of Burundi, established in 1984. Over 1,600 smallholders deliver handpicked cherry here—the average farmer runs about 250 trees. The station has 200+ drying tables and processes close to 20,000 bags a year. Natural processed: whole cherries dried on raised beds, then transported to Gitega for dry milling and export.
